Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Caledonian Canal
We meet at the station in Fort William and take the short transfer to our put-in point on the Caledonian Canal. We journey on the canal through the first of many lock gates  towards our first camp on the shores of Loch Lochy.

Day 2

Loch Lochy to Loch Oich
Our first experience of Open water as we journey along the magnificent shores of this great Loch. If conditions are favourable we may even try a spot of sailing!  Our goal is to reach camp on the shores of Laggan Locks.

Day 3

Laggan Locks to Fort Augustus
We paddle along Loch Oich and rejoin the Canal for a few miles, negotiating the Canal Locks and enjoying the beautiful scenery this part of the Highlands has in abundance. We are rewarded at the end of our day as we set up camp on the shores of Loch Ness.

Day 4

Fort Augustus to Foyers
We are finally paddling on Loch Ness! Weather conditions will determine our approach today but whether we paddle, raft up or sail we are sure you will enjoy this atmospheric Loch and the towering mountains that surround it. We make our final camp near the village of Foyers.

Day 5

Foyers to River Ness
Our final day is spent on Loch Ness heading towards its Eastern shores. We take in the scenery with views of Urquhart Castle as we paddle down the Loch. This is the end of a truly memorable trip and after sorting our kit we transfer you to your station of choice.
